Help - Moved router now orders not importing to Monsoon Stone Edge

$

Hey guys, We moved our router to another location and now our Sixbit is having issues sending orders to Monsoon. New orders seem to be fine now but I am missing a chunk of about 200-250 orders from the weekend. Wondering if anyone here has any experience with Monsoon and this type of problem. Ive refreshed our sixbit client and server and it looks like all the orders are showing up there. I opened a ticket with Monsoon but havent been contacted yet. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

New import Map when updating to new SB

We finally upgraded hardware and are now running on Windows 10 and have the latest version of SB on our system. We use a different software to manage our inventory and then create a CSV file to import, this process has worked well for several years. As we work to test everything out we realize that our import is not working correctly. The saved MAP file we have does not seem to be effecting the data. Well not 100% nothing a few fields are changing but by far not all. Before we go with brute force just start typing and just fix it, does any one know if there is a simple fix to get our saved map to apply correctly on the new database

Thanks!

Saved views between computers or users

Hi everybody,

I'm a bit confused about how the "Saved Views" works between different computers on the same database or different users on the same database.  It doesn't seem to work consistently.  Are they designed to be shared between or to be separate.  Thanks.

Pictures not showing up

I have lost the view of all of my photos, somehow, since the latest update. That is, none of them appear in grid view, or the item window. When in Sell Items, as I load a photo, it shows up normally, can be edited, and stays right there in the window until I save. Then, it isn't in the grid and if I reopen the item page, it isn't showing up there either and cannot be edited. When I attempt to list, the error message is that no photo was found in the database or (something else went by quickly). Then, Pictures Could Not Be Uploaded, and the listing fails. However, when I relist an item, though there is no photo available, the photo shows up on eBay (presumably because eBay already had the info). Under Check Listings, the grid view shows no thumbnail. If I open a listing, the Revise window shows a generated URL, but no thumbnail. In Ship Orders, no thumbnails in grid listing. My photos are stored in a folder, because my database was getting too big. (So, I'm a data hoarder.) I attached an image showing how that looks, because the file names don't make any sense to me. Any advice will be appreciated.

New User - Loving it!

Howdy! I've been using SixBit for all of about a day and a half now and it's incredible.  Kudos to development and support - this product rocks.  I look forward to continuing to unlock more of it's secrets.  Is there a PDF downloadable User Guide by chance? I see the one built in and it's dynamic and very comprehensive, but I like to do a little "offline" reading too at times when things are quiet. Or is there a recommended "new user" read? I've done the videos so far and they are very helpful.

I'm sure I'm not using 10% of the power that is software offers but just the user interface and simple design makes me so happy and I love it already!

Heard about it this week on eBay radio so hopefully we aren't the only new user.

Business Policies vs SixBit - the Fight!

$

I think I am going mad!

I have Sixbit presets for shipping and payment.

In eBay I have business policies.

Which should I edit? Which overrides which?

For example.

Postage - I have four options in SixBit; Collection, Royal Mail below 1 kg, Royal Mail above 1 kg & Courier.

In EBay I had loads of postage policies (some historical) so I went through and tided them all up to match the four as in SixBit - but now I find more policies have returned.

Any advice gratefully received.

External ID on Pick List?

$

I've created a duplicate Pick List sub-report and would like to add my external ID (I keep my inventory sorted in numerical order by external id) to the report.  I can't seem to find the field in the list of available fields, but, I may be overlooking something.  Is the field available in the pick list detail sub-report?  If so, can anyone give me a screenshot as to where to find it? While I've never used the report builder embedded in SixBit, I have used other report builders (i.e., MSAccess) so I think I can set this up properly if the field is available.   If it's not currently available I will put in a feature request.  I currently get my external id manually from each inventory item, but it would be nice to just be able to print it on a pick list.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Item Templates not duplicating any information

Hello

When adding items from templates, the templates are empty.

But when I "manage item templates" the information is there.

I think this happened after update version 3.00.046 but I'm not shure.

I already contacted Sixbit support more than 1 day ago, they asked me to upload database by "submit database" , but Sixbit gives an error : "«unable to create SQL backup file ..."

24 hours ago I said this to support, but until now ... nothing, no reply.

Sixbit support was allays fine , until now ?

Anybody have a solution, please ?

Thanks

Jose

"APPLICATION BUTTON" Where?

Ok. I give up. I'm trying to import listing from eBay and everything I read says Click on the "APPLICATION" button "In the upper left hand side of the screen. So treat me like I'm a 3 year old and post a screen shot. Because I'll be &%#@ if I can find an APPLICATION button on either the dash board or the listing screen.

Thanks

Toolbars are gone unless I click on "Items" tab

There has been a toolbar change since our last update.  It's slowed us down and is rather annoying.  I can't figure out how to get it back how it was.

For example on the Items screen all it shows is a File tab and an Items tab along the top.  You have to click on the Items tab to see the old toolbar.  Is there a way to just make the toolbar stay there without having to click the damn thing constantly?

Attached Picture 1 is how it looks as a default.  Picture 2 is how it looks after I click on the "Items" tab and how I'd like it to stay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Shelly

Ecom lite version

John, Sixbit stripped down without order management and eBay eccentricity would make a great product product manager for Shopify and other stores. While I realize you could import export CSV and populate those stores, you could pick up a significant following. Even if I leave eBay, I'm keeping sixbit just for it's product data management features. I'm a 3dcart user, but am amazed how many new stores and how many old stores are switching to Shopify.

Sixbit is an awesome product!

Multiple Quantity Sale / Shipping

So I have a Dell server in stock in my store that we have a shipping price of $60 on.  To pack these up we use high density foam that costs about $20 a sheet.  So we charge shipping on the item so that we can cover our costs on the packaging materials only, we actually cover the costs of the shipping services on these items.

The only problem is eBay only charges shipping and handling once on these sales.  Is this a setup issue on my end through SixBit?  Or is this still an issue eBay where they don't really care about how much we have to pay out of pocket to ship these things?

Can someone please confirm?

I create a new item on AZ, and SB auto imports it.

Now I go to AZ, and make changes to the bullet points.....

Can someone confirm? I think the following statements are true:

1. SB will not import those changes. The bullet points will not auto sync up.

2. Changing the title in SB will not sync up with AZ

3. The only things changed in SB, that will sync up back to AZ are:

  a. Price

  b. Inventory

  c. Latency

4. SB only imports the first photo from AZ. Right?

5. Once SB initially imports the item, changing the weight or measurements on AZ, will not get imported to SB.

New User here - Multiple LIsting Sumittal?

HI - As a previous Turbo LIster User, I was able to 'Pre-stage' multiple listings and submit them one after another. Is there a way to do this in Six Bit without scheduling the listings and avoid an Ebay fee? From my experience so far, Six Bit only allows submittal one listing at a time.  Thanks for your assistance!

Backing Up 4.7 GB Database in 18 Seconds or Less

I am still constantly amazed on how fast my computer runs with Sixbits since I completely converted over from a HDD, Hard Drive, to SSD ,Solid State Drive. I added a external portable Samsung SSD T3 (1 TB Terabyte) to hold Sixbit backups and to allow me to easily transport backups between my primary computer and my backup. I had already removed the 1 TB HDD from my primary and put a Crucial 1 TB SSD on it which turned a fast machine into a speed Demon.

I just did a manual backup to my external SSD. Sixbits can read the database on my C: Drive and create a backup and write it via a USB 3.0 port to my external portable SSD in 18 seconds, give or take a few. The database size is 4.7 GB.
