The Merge Inventory drop-down item ruined my day!

So i highlighted about 15 listings that were close to being submitted to eBay. When I went to right-click on the mouse and scroll down the drop-down menu where the Merge Inventory field is located, my finger accidentally slipped and the mouse cursor landed *boom!* squarely on that field, obliterating any and all listings I had highlited, save for one little listing.

I later come to find out that I merged all those listings into one listing (which seems improbably odd, since the listings all had different prices, descriptions, etc. Only the categories were identical). I tried to find a way to resurrect those merged listings, but to no avail.

I find it difficult to believe that sixbit-an ecommerce solution that has countless protections built-in to prevent serious damage to listings from user carelessness, would not have the forsight to build in a protection to prevent the potentially huge loss of data that would arise from accidental Merge Inventory clicking. Knowing this; knowing that the sixbit software engineer would be keen on seeing the obvious danger in having such a hazardous clickable object (Merge Inventory) so close to the other, far more useful objects (Batch Editing, etc), and providing the work-around in the event that Merge Inventory is inadvertantly clicked upon, may I ask: what is this work-around? How do I get my 15 merged listings back to 15 listings instead of just that one listing?T

thanks in advance!
