We have been in discussion with ShipRush to purchase a 3 license key which will allow for any of our systems to print shipping labels. Today I received the following message from one of the ShipRush reps.
ShipRush FedEx licenses for SixBit will no longer be free of charge. Here's why:
ShipRush Order Manager for FedEx has been free for the past 8 or so years. As part of that ecommerce initiative, we gave ShipRush to Blackthorne, and then to SixBit users, gratis.
The sponsorship promotion ended at the end of 2015 and we need to charge for it now.
Customers can pay for their license out of pocket. To use ShipRush FedEx with SixBit, you'll need a ShipRush SDK visual run time license whch costs $290 per year.
Customers can also contact their FedEx sales rep to see if they may eligible for a FedEx Tech Award that would cover the license cost.
Tech Awards can be used to pay for 1 or multiple years of ShipRush license.
ShipRush is a Platinum Compatible partner, and we're in the Tech Awards program as an Integration incentive.
Has anyone else received messages like this or even heard about this change?
