Tiny Pencil by description box

I need to input the condition of my item in the description box. Since I don't seem to be able to simply click on the box to open it, I need to find that tiny pencil and exactly click on it. Is there any reason why the box can't be opened by clicking on it, or better yet, able to be edited straight from the edit page? Short of that, could the pencil be made into something larger, say a sharpie or big crayon so it is easier to click on? Thank you! Scott (user since Auction Assistant, still a computer dunce)
